3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
On available data Wudcare Super Fast PVA has no hazard classification
according to 88/379/EEC. The surfactants and to a lesser extent
the free monomer present in polymer dispersions can cause dermatitis
through repeated contact in sensitive individuals. Eye contact
may cause eye irritation.
4. FIRST AID MEASURES
SKIN CONTACT Wash with water before the adhesive
dries. Remove contaminated clothing.
EYE CONTACT Wash with water for several minutes.
Seek medical advice if irritation persists .
INGESTION Give plenty of water to drink and obtain
medical advice.
5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Wudcare FPVA as supplied will not burn. Dried
glue films are combustible. Water, foam carbon dioxide or dry powder
extinguishers are suitable.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Spillages should not be washed into any drain, unless it leads
to a suitable effluent treatment process. Residues and spillages
should be soaked up with an inert absorbent (e.g. sand) for disposal.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
7.1. Handling
FPVA should be handled in accordance with good industrial safety
and hygiene practices.
7.2. Storage
Sealed containers should be stored between 5 o C and 25 o C. Bulk
tanks should be externally ventilated.
8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS AND PERSONAL PROTECTION
8.1. Exposure controls
Local exhaust ventilation may be requires in circumstances where
the product is sprayed, heated or dried.

FPVA is stable under normal conditions of use.
11.TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION
Long-term experience of handling this class of product under industrial
conditions indicates the absence of any chronic or acute effects.
12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION
FPVA is totally miscible with water and will
be progressively diluted if admitted to waterways.
Low concentrations of FPVA are unlikely to reduce
sludge activity in sewage treatment.
13. DISPOSAL INFORMATION
FPVA is not classified as hazardous waste. Do
not dispose of into surface drains. Wash water from brushes etc.
may be disposed of into foul drains provided such disposal meets
the requirements of local water authorities.
